# Introduction to 1155.tech

1155Tech is a new art platform that puts creators first, protects royalties, boosts discovery, and makes art markets liquid. Let's break that down.

1155Tech is built on [@CantoPublic](https://twitter.com/CantoPublic) and integrated with [@blankrasa](https://twitter.com/blankrasa), Canto's native NFT marketplace.

* Collectors can buy, sell, burn, and hold keys 
* Burn the key to get the edition it represents 
* Burn the edition and get the key back 
* Hold the key to **earn yield** for each time its bought, sold, minted or burnt.
